yes, that is what I thought too. however, it seems Meizu has made a deal with a samsung to get super amoled displays. i am very confident that this is actually super amoled, given the much better sunlight readability.

eh... i've compared both side-by-side and the Pro 7 Plus is slightly quicker. keep in mind that this isn't just some random mediatek chip - it's the Helio X30, which is supposed to be their best chip.

yeah, of course! so originally (before the days of 4G LTE) operated HSPA+ on AWS only. however, they have since added HSPA+ on 1900 in most areas, especially urban. so you should still get HSPA+ in most areas, but may drop down to 2G when 1900 isn't available.

only HSPA+, and even that is only partially supported

hey - so you will get HSPA+ in most areas over GSM 1900. however, t-mobile also operates 1700/2100 AWS spectrum for HSPA+, which this phone does NOT support (it has 2100, but missing 1700, you have to have both). if you live in a large city, you shouldn't have any issues.

no on getting more connectivity. on at&t, cricket, etc. you'll get HSPA+. the phone technically supports band 5 LTE too, but that's rarely available as it's low bandwidth (generally only in rural areas).

not yet, but it should be within the next few weeks!

it's actually pretty good! benchmarks aren't great, but apps load just a tad faster than on the galaxy s8.

for what it's worth, it performs better than the galaxy s8 (with the 835) when compared side-by-side

currently, the phone has to be on to use the secondary display. the primary screen can be locked/off, but the phone itself needs to be on.

it's the only space i have (and share)

well, you can't use third party apps on the secondary display (at least not yet). so at the moment you still need a front-facing camera for things like snapchat, skype, etc.

well, the LG G6 is pretty cheap now if you can get it used. if you're looking for something different, the Pro 7 Plus is a good option. but, for the price, I would choose the G6.

it does not. this feature was present with the Pro 6 Plus but is not available with the Pro 7 Plus

yep, we'll be sure to get to that one :)

yep, it's the same one that's used in the Galaxy S8

given the price difference, I would choose the Pro 6 Plus. they are very similar phones overall.

yeah, there's a good selection on AliExpress
