Based on the simulations in dreams, I would guess that dreams, our waking life and our self are all just simulations like the matrix.

Raw vegan with b12 supplement is healthy altho it will probably be more expensive than unrefined vegan diet with most calories from cheap staple foods like brown rice, finger millet, whole grain wheat flat bread, taro, purple yam, elephant foot yam (suran) plus some vegetables.

My favorite bread is manna organics unfermented sprouted rye bread and the only ingredients are just sprouted rye and water (no salt added). I am chinese and I prefer steamed bread over baked bread.

Raw food diets (with b12 supplement) even though expensive are probably healthy since our bodies are still quite similar to our close ape relatives the chimpanzee and gorilla who eat mainly fruits, vegetables and some insects for vitamin b12. I used to watch lots of chimpanzee videos and they hunt small animals on rare occasions probably bec the leader ape wants to show off. About half of the tubers in africa can be eaten raw so I would guess our ancestors were already eating raw tubers and some animal products even before the invention of cooking.

Instead of using a complicated system like ayurveda, can instead use 1 simple rule: if the food has no fiber, do not eat it. The exception is b12 supplement which is needed to reduce or eliminate the expensive junk food called animal products (all have 0 fiber and not a lot of micronutrients). The do not eat fiberless foods rule is from Dr Bill Harris of the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii. The rule eliminates juice which lacks fiber and better to eat real fruits. Refined substances have 0 fiber or low fiber such as oil, butter, ghee, sweeteners, juice, refined flour, salt, protein powder, tofu, seitan, vegan fake milk, vegan fake butter, vegan fake cheese, etc. As for cooking method, healthier to steam or boil (drink the water used for boiling). Most traditional diets include a mix of cooked and raw foods. Mushrooms require cooking.

For clues on how to have longevity, can easily look at more recent traditional diets like the 1949 okinawa japan diet. If you want to reach age 100, probably should be on a unrefined plant based diet from birth like those people who live long lives in okinawa japan. In okinawa japan, they ate plenty of pork about monthly during the festivals. All japan cuisine is based on fish flakes to flavor food. Okinawa has a fatty pork miso condiment. Many countries use anchovies to flavor vegetable dishes. For daily animal products, probably better to use them only as condiments and only eat plenty of animal products for monthly parties. The 1949 okinawa diet is a good diet for longevity but it was not perfect since it was a bit low on b12, b2, calcium and zinc. Omnivores can probably get more b12, calcium and zinc from clam, oyster, mussel. If reducing or eliminating animal products, should take b12 supplement.

For the adventist health study 2, the 4 health conscious groups are about the same in terms of longevity : 1. vegans, 2. ovolactovegetarians, 3. eat seafood about 4x a month. 4. eat animal products about 4x a month. The 4 health conscious groups do have better longevity than omnivores who eat animal products more than 4x a month. Vegans should take b12 supplement.

The best argument for going vegan is to help delay global warming and to help delay human extinction. Most global warming scientists now recommend going vegan. Just take vitamin b12 supplement if reducing or eliminating animal products. About 15% of global warming is from livestock (mostly cattle). Every day, many people die from antibiotic resistant bacteria. My younger sister died from hospital bacteria in 1992. Livestock factory farms are a source of pandemics and killer bacteria. To be a healthy vegan, it is important to avoid refined substances (oil, sweeteners, juice, refined flour, protein powder, salt) and processed foods and just buy most of your foods from the local farmers markets and the produce section plus cheap staple foods like tubers (potato, sweet potato) and or whole grains.

China has already told its citizens to cut down on animal products by 50% for health and for the environment. WHO says red meat, processed meat and smoked meat causes cancer. Harvard healthy eating plate already says to limit dairy bec dairy is linked to some forms of cancer particularly prostate cancer. If reducing or eliminating animal products, just take vitamin b12 supplement.

Modern vegans have been around since the 1950s. B12 pills were invented around the 1950s and the vegan diet seems safe since that time. We already have plenty of time to observe if veganism can cause illnesses such as mental illness. If not ready to go vegan, just try reducing animal products and take b12 supplement. If do not want to take b12 supplement, the best sources of b12 are clam, oyster and mussel.

Dr Greger has an old video warning vegans to take epa/dha supplement if needed to maybe avoid higher incidence of neurological diseases. Vegans who refuse to take b12 supplement will get neurological diseases and will die.

anorexia and orthorexia kill lots of people and need to be treated by a psychiatrist. I am old enough to remember Karen Carpenter the singer died from anorexia and bulimia. Mental illness runs in our family and I have a cousin who has bulimia. I am not aware of any evidence about veganism with b12 supplement causing orthorexia or any mental illness.

I exercise after each meal so I do not get fat from eating unrefined foods whether carb, fat or protein. I am actually losing weight right now and want to go from bmi 20 to 18 to help lower my blood sugar. I have prediabetes. For asians, normal bmi is around 18 to 22.
Normal bmi for whites is probably up to 24. For blacks, normal bmi is probably up to 23. For hispanics and asians, normal bmi is probably up to 21. For India, normal bmi is probably up 19.

I used to buy sprouted buckwheat (raw) from the internet and I just boil them. Roasting grains creates much less carcinogens compared to animal products, so can probably continue to eat roasted grains if you really like roasted grains. I know kasha is a traditional food and I also want to respect tradition. Some raw vegans eat too much raw buckwheat sprouts which can cause the skin to become too sensitive to sunshine.

The problem with refined substances is they have 0 fiber or most fiber has been removed and most micronutrients have also been removed. Better to eat real food from the local farmers markets and to also avoid toxic packaging.

I would guess that a 100% inert tooth filling might be quite difficult to find so maybe go with the least harmful filling.

Dr Greger has answered questions about blood thinners in past videos and I remember he thinks such medications are necessary.

Not many studies on collagen supplements so probably a waste of money and could even cause harm. As with any supplement, probably many fake products. Probably better to just eat real food.
