17 miles a day he said (times 2000 makes 34k steps), strange though because he mentioned in a video that more than 1.5 hour a day doesn't give extra benefits.

Yeah that is honestly excessive... at some point the stress on your spine/joints is going to catch up to you...

He walks 17 miles a day, not 17k steps, there are 2k steps in a mile on average.

Gene what he was saying about more than 1.5 hours a day is that they couldn't find enough people that exercise that much to create a study, but the benefits scale up to and probably beyond the 1.5 hours a day.

I think Dr.Gregors jump from 1.5hours to what'd be something like 5-7 hours is kind of extreme....

What a ridiculous question. I say "5-7 hours is kind of extreme" and you assume I mean we should sit all day? Do you not think there is an in-between option?
